Be sure to clasp the neck of the bottle securely, and try to lift in
one smooth motion; not always effective. Possibly easier for a
really strong man or woman to use, as the leverage is a little
awkward if one hasn't the strength to smoothly lift up. Have found
sitting with the bottle secured between knees helps.
The cork release feature after opening the wine is a joy to have!
