This wine opener is the best unit I have put my hands on. It is very easy to use, you see the cork in a clear plastic lighted chamber, functionality is tops, and the price is great. I have previewed several other wine openers at friends houses and usually a problem occurs. After using the Ozeri and experiencing no problems it is easy to see why other raters have raved about this product.

I purchased this item in May. I waited until now to write the review to make sure my first impression was correct. Every time I have used this wine opener I have been very pleased with the ease of opening the bottle. Even if I do not get the corkscrew portion exactly in the middle I have yet to have a cork break or drop little pieces in the wine. I also really appreciate the ease of removing the cork. Since it usually takes a few days to finish a bottle of wine, in my household, I must say I also appreciate the pour spout/stopper that came with the wine opener.

After my "Rabbit" manual wine opener broke after only 6 mo. use, (It was $50 at a retail store), I decided to go for one of the better rated electric openers on Amazon. After about 6 wks, and one busy party's use with probably 30 wine bottles opened, I have found no problems with the Nouveaux II Wine Opener - also it is very simple to operate. I haven't broken a cork yet, so I don't know how it performs under these circumstances.

I have to open the wine in my house and had a fairly nice manual opener that broke after several years use. I found this opener on Amazon and it has perfomed just as well as the other reviewers claimed. My daughter said it would make a wonderful shower or wedding gift.

I had a wine opener for about three years when it died. It didn't take long for it to get old having to open bottles with a manual opener. I was going to order the same brand but read the reviews on this Ozeri. I took a chance and ordered it. So glad I did! It works so much better on those artificial corks than the other one did. I usually had to open those types manually. It makes short work on natural corks as well. It is also fun to be able to see the cork rise in the chamber. And it lights up with a blue light! I have found that it is quite long lasting on a single charge as well. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.
