Great Aerator - however missing the filter and travel bag, So the aerator product itself work fantastic. It certainly does improve the taste of red wine instantly. And even by itself its a great price. The only complaint I have is that the sediment filter and travel bad was not included as they stated it was. I won't return the product because it still works and that was just fluff. The price is still good. Just want people to be aware - don't count on getting the sediment filter and the travel bag.
Great gift for a wine enthusiast!, I bought this as a gift for a friend, and after trying it out, I bought one for myself. I never would have thought I would be able to tell a real difference, but I can. On a dry red wine, for instance, it tasted lighter and fruitier without being sweet- a pleasant surprise! The Magic Decanter is the exact same as a more expensive brand on Amazon, but at a fraction of the cost. You can't beat the value. Plus the carrying case and stand are especially convenient for storage and travel.
Very Happy, This is an excellent product. I don't know if i can mention its competitor or not, but it is $50.00 and the only difference between them is a tiny little v on the base.

Very Nice!, I ordered the Magic Decanter after experiencing the Vinturi decanter. They look the same and to my knowledge, work the same and deliver the same results - with the major difference being that the Magic Decanter costs $20 less. We are very satisfied with the results and have used it on several bottles already. Can't say that I can truly attest to a taste improvement, but then...maybe I need to buy cheaper wine (wink). Bottom line: we're very pleased with the purchase and feel it is a worthwhile value. We bought several more as gifts for friends.
Comparable to other Venturi-effect wine aerators, This performs as well as other more well recognized products, at a lower price point. Double-blinded, and blind folded, I correctly identified the glass that had been aerated however, taste is subjective, and not everyone in our group did.
This is certainly a gadget item, and really only serves to speed up the time from bottle to glass, that would otherwise take a few hours in a decanter. Younger, less expensive wines seem to benefit the most.
Worth noting: The 2 injection points (where the air is pulled in) are directly across from each other, so air is not pulled in equally from both sides. I doubt this makes any real difference in the taste of the pour, but it does make for a strange pattern of sound.
