  Great use of space!, October 13, 2010
I just ordered my second one. Because this wine rack has to be assembled I was able to fit it perfectly onto one of my pantry shelves in a configuration that made the most use of my limited space. It is extremely sturdy and very well made. It was also very easy to put together. One small problem is the spacing does not allow for smaller wine bottles to fit securely. They may fall through. So I put them on the bottom row. A bonus though is that large pasta sauce jars fit nicely.

Extremely easy to assemble (with a mallet) and really beautiful. I ended up placing it with different configurations with a display case so now my wine looks like art. Excellent quality wood at a fantastic price. I almost bought the 9-bottle version for $25 from another website.

This was easy to assemble, nice and sturdy, perfect for our needs. We toured the Finger Lakes wineries this summer and joined a wine club, so we need another one to store our wines until it's time to drink them. I'm ordering a second one for our basement wine cellar.

WOW! This is one heavy duty and superbly functional wine rack! The octagonal pieces drilled for the pegs are smooth and heavy, and machined perfectly. The pegs all fit snugly and assembly required a good sized plastic "dead blow" hammer to seat them evenly. Once you get into the rhythm, assembly becomes a simple repetition of a few basic steps.

But, the effort is well worth it. Once assembled, the rack is heavy, solid, and sturdy and I did not see the need for any glue. The final shape you build it is limited only by your imagination, and the enclosed instructions show a "stepped" shape that would fit under a set of stairs, and various other options. The rack fits various sized and shaped bottles securely, and the depth seems just perfect to cradle the bottles securely. They slip into their slots with a silken finality that only genuine wood on glass can provide. I dislike metal racks specifically for the reason that the bottles "clink" whenever you rack or remove them.

So, if you are looking for a handsome, secure wine storage solution, this is the one for you. if you want to order more than one, you can combine the kits into one large one or any combination you choose. I'm ordering my second one today!

Not as easy to put together as you would think when you take it out of the box. This could be done by one person but is a lot easier when two people do it. Pretty Sturdy. I was able to put a 60 (10 bottles across and 6 high) unit in the space I had a kit and part of another. Very happy with the purchase.
