Cool Tool, This is the next best thing to sliced bread! We've had ours for about a month now and open wine every evening to have with dinner. I was successful the very first time I used it, and I've never looked back! One literally holds it vertically on top of a bottle of wine, after using the handing foil cutter that comes with it, push down gently to make sure the bottle neck is seated in the opener, push the "down" arrow and wait until its quiet whirring stops. Presto! The cork is gone. Push the up arrow while holding your hand under the device and the cork is released into your hand. I love the this item. We have not had to recharge it since we got it. The box says it will open 80 bottles without a recharge, and I believe it! You won't be sorry if you buy it-good price here at Amazon too!

The best wine opener, January 31, 2010I bought this for my husband for Christmas because the Kitchenaid manual wine opener we had never worked properly. He loves it! The cork comes out effortlessly in a minute. I keep it on the charger at all times. I just can't believe the prices I am seeing here and on line elsewhere. I got it at BJ's for [...]. Amazon is usually very comparable with BJ's, especially since there's no tax and free shipping, but not this time.
